I have lived on the Palouse for many years and began collecting watercolor paintings when I moved here. The first painting I purchased was one of Nicole Tafflinger's, from the Nica Gallery in Pullman, and it's still one of my favorites.
I became interested in learning how to paint while taking classes offered through the UI Enrichment Program and Moscow Parks and Recreation department. Since then I've taken many workshops, studied with John Kirkland, and learned from my other friends at PWS. In addition to PWS, I belong to the Idaho Watercolor Society and other regional art groups.
Please send requests for sales prices of the paintings below.to PWS.
I enjoy working in oil, watercolor and acrylic. The abstract acrylic pours pictured below were painted on canvas but archival prints are available in a wide range of sizes. Many have already been placed in 16 x 20" or 20 x 20" frames with white mats.
I'll be the featured artist at the Valley Art Center in Clarkston WA for the month of September 2021. The opening reception is on Friday September 3 from 4-7 pm, and the show will run until Saturday September 25.
